Courting the Wrong Demon Lord

Xia Jin, a 28-year-old content director, drops dead from KPI stress. When she wakes, she is suspended in a void, face to face with a "Great KPI Completion System" that keeps dropping its connection. Her only mission: win the male lead's heart — "the one who carries the twin-fish jade pendant, whose power sways both court and country." Xia Jin falls into the manor of Ling Feng, a ruthless demon lord, and sees a twin-fish jade pendant at his waist. She is convinced this is her KPI target. But Ling Feng is the story's main villain — and the real male lead is Crown Prince Ling Jing, who carries the other half of that jade. While Xia Jin deploys every clichéd romance move to "conquer" him, the paranoid Ling Feng analyzes her every action through conspiracy theory. A slow-burn, comedic love story about a woman who courts the wrong man, and a man who is convinced he is being assassinated.
