Even In Death You Must Live

A seven-year-old boy lives in Sacred Heart Orphanage, built atop the ruins of an ancient temple long demolished. His parents died when he was three — a traffic accident, they said. One night, he watches another child get dragged down into the hole in the backyard — the hole the nuns always called a dry well — and the next morning, no one remembers that child ever existed. Following the traces of whatever lies beneath, he uncovers a secret about what was once worshipped atop the temple: one of the Dragon's nine children, sealed here for centuries, and hungrier now than ever.
