Seventeen Days Before We Vanish

In 2038, Nguyen An sits before the ECHO machine in the abandoned Morrow building and sends her own neural state back to the first of June, 2025. For thirteen years, the verdict that she killed Khai has gnawed her life away, and she returns to stop that death from ever happening. Waking beside Khai, still breathing, she has seventeen days before the day he dies. But messages from an unknown number keep reminding her that last time she told him everything, and Khai died four days early.
